Staff: Justin M. Senior

Justin Senior was named Chief Executive Officer for the Safety Net Hospital Alliance of Florida effective January 7, 2019.

Before joining the Safety Nets, Senior served as the Secretary at Florida’s Agency for Health Care Administration, from October 2016 to January 2019.  Additionally, Mr. Senior served as Florida’s Medicaid Director from 2011 to 2016, overseeing the procurement, implementation, and operation of Florida’s Statewide Medicaid Managed Care program.

Mr. Senior grew up in Gainesville, Florida. He has a B.A. in history from McGill University and a Juris Doctor with honors from the University of Florida, College of Law. Before joining the Agency for Health Care Administration, Mr. Senior practiced as a litigation attorney in the private sector for over 11 years.
