As health care changes, significant decisions are being made on the federal level that impact Florida’s safety net hospitals. Through its federal advocacy efforts, SNHAF provides a strong voice for the teaching, public, children’s and regional perinatal intensive care hospitals that make up the Safety Net Hospital Alliance of Florida, in addressing key issues impacting member hospital quality of care, quality measurement, patient access, financing and health care reform.
