Dr. Motew’s oversight includes UF Health’s flagship teaching hospital UF Health Shands Hospital and six specialty hospitals: UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital; UF Health Shands Cancer Hospital; UF Health Heart & Vascular Hospital; UF Health Neuromedicine Hospital; UF Health Shands Psychiatric Hospital; and UF Health Rehab Hospital. UF Health Shands also includes comprehensive outpatient services, a network of rehabilitation centers and a home health agency. Patients come to UF Health Shands from all 67 Florida counties, all 50 U.S. states and from about a dozen countries each year. UF Health Shands is a $1.6 billion academic medical center with nearly 11,000 employees.
